A monitor and a prompter, 91 € and 149 €

Where it turns up

Field monitors and teleprompters, at 91 € and 149 €.

A feature that works on arrival

Five monitors on that shelf support 3D lookup tables. This is the one that supplies the U-disk to carry them — which sounds trivial until the alternative is discovering on location that the socket needs media nobody packed.

Eight volts, going the other way

A DC output that powers the camera through a dummy battery, so one NP-F970 on the monitor runs both devices. On a long interview that replaces three camera batteries with one, and removes the swap that always happens mid-take.

The prompter that fits every lens

Adapter rings from 49 to 82 mm, in the box. A prompter clamps to the filter thread of whatever lens is fitted, and lenses disagree — so the rings are the difference between fitting one lens and fitting the bag.
