Both listings open with instructions for reporting missing or damaged parts, a 24-hour reply promised and replacements offered — before a single feature. On a box containing two stands, four crossbars, three cloths, four lamps and four clamps, it is an unusual opening and it says something about how often the count comes up short.

Cotton, argued against muslin and paper

The backdrop set names its competition by material and claims fewer creases and no transparency. It is the only cotton on its shelf, and the only page there to make the comparison at all.
