From 8 € hoods to 40 € bags, and eighteen coating layers
Where it turns up
Tripods and monopods; battery grips and backpacks; camera straps and rain covers; UV, polarising and ND filters; close-up lenses and lens adapters; hoods, cleaning kits and reflectors. The prices sit between 8 € and 40 €, which is the whole proposition.
The filters are the well-specified ones
Eighteen layers of nano coating on the UV and the polariser, a 5.3 mm frame published with vignetting named as the reason, Japanese optical glass, AGC glass on the variable ND with a 7.4 mm frame and a CNC grip pattern. On this site those are among the fullest filter specifications there are.
Where the pages go quiet
Transmission. Eighteen layers are counted and the percentage they achieve is not, where a 13 € rival publishes 99.5 per cent on twelve. The cleaning kit claims a four-piece set and names only the blower and the cloth. And the variable ND warns, to its credit, that it does not belong on a lens below 35 mm.
A bullet that is not a specification
Several listings close with a worldwide sales ranking sourced to Euromonitor 2024 data. It is properly cited and it is about the market rather than the glass — occupying, on a six-bullet page, the slot where a frame thickness or a transmission figure could have gone.
48 to 190 cm · folded 46 cm · pentagonal aluminium tubes · 3-way head rated at 4 kg · 360 degrees of pan, tilt from minus 70 to plus 100 degrees · raisable centre column with a hook beneath · horseshoe rubber feet · 1.35 kg · two quick-release plates, a phone and tablet holder and a Bluetooth remote supplied
A 4 kg head rating, pentagonal tubes and two quick-release plates for 35 € — the only tripod here whose load figure is attached to the part that actually holds the camera.
Best for: A mirrorless body or a light reflex at full height, where the hook, the feet and the second plate are worth more than another 10 cm.
160 cm maximum · folded 43 cm · five sections · flip-lock quick catches · 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch dual interface · two-in-one metal and rubber foot · non-slip cotton grip with a hand strap · aluminium alloy · no declared load published · no head included
Five sections folding to 43 cm for 22 €, with a foot that unscrews to reveal a metal spike and both thread sizes — and no load figure on the page.
Best for: A pole that has to disappear into a small bag, for a camera used at or below 160 cm on mixed ground.
A petal hood with a matt interior for 8 € — and a page that tells you it vignettes below 25 mm and will not take a filter underneath.
Shape
PETAL, in the title — the scalloped shape whose corners are cut away so a wide frame does not see them. It is the shape the hub above compares first, and it is the only page on this shelf to name it apart from the 11 € CAMKIX, which supplies one alongside two rubber hoods
Lenses named
NONE individually. The sixth bullet claims every 58 mm Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax, Olympus and Fuji lens — a thread rather than a lens, which is honest for a universal hood and less useful than the named Olympus of the 11 € JJC here. A petal hood on an unspecified lens is a compromise: the scallops are cut for one angle of view, not for all of them
Fitting method
SCREW MOUNTING, in the second bullet, described as more secure than the alternative. On a petal hood a screw mount is a real drawback: the scallops must align with the corners of the frame, and a thread stops wherever friction stops it
Filter access
REFUSED, and the page says so itself: the fourth bullet states it cannot be mounted together with a filter. That is the clearest statement on this shelf and a genuine limitation — a UV or polarising filter and this hood cannot both be on the lens
Reversibility
Not mentioned
Material
Not named. What IS named is the surface that matters: a MATT INTERIOR, in the fifth bullet, credited with preventing or limiting stray light from direct light on the front of the lens. A shiny hood interior reflects light into the lens and undoes the hood’s purpose

EAN
6942052528818
A petal shape, and a matt interior named as the reason it works
Two limits stated by the maker: 25 mm vignetting, and no filter underneath
A screw mount on a petal hood, which cannot be aligned reliably
Best for: A 58 mm lens at 25 mm or longer, used without a filter, where a matt-lined petal hood for 8 € is the point.
One to nine stops on a variable 67 mm filter for 29 €, in Japanese AGC glass — from a page that tells you not to fit it to a lens wider than 35 mm.
Strength
1 to 9 stops, in the title and the first and fourth bullets, named for long exposures and motion blur in changing light. Nine stops turns a 1/250 second exposure into two seconds — the difference between frozen water and a smooth sheet
Notations given
BOTH, in the title: ND2-400 and 1-9 f-stops. The two notations describe the same thing from opposite ends — ND2 passes half the light and ND400 a four-hundredth — and publishing both saves the arithmetic. The hub above asks for exactly this, and the 186 € NiSi here gives ND0.3-1.5 instead, a third notation again
Fixed or variable construction
VARIABLE, and both filters on this shelf are. A variable ND is two polarising layers rotated against each other, which is why it costs less than nine separate filters and why it has the failure the hub above warns about at the extremes
Thread size
67 mm, in the title
Stated colour cast
NOT ADDRESSED. The second bullet claims intense colours and high contrast from Japanese AGC glass; neutrality is never claimed and no cast is denied. On a variable ND that is the specification most worth having — the 186 € NiSi here sells its True Color coating precisely on preventing a yellow tint
Coatings
Not counted. Japanese AGC glass is named in the second bullet and no layer count appears, where the same maker publishes eighteen layers on its UV and polarising filters
Frame thickness
7.4 mm, in the third bullet, described as very slim with a CNC trapezoid pattern that raises friction so it can be fitted or removed anywhere. Seven point four millimetres is thicker than any polariser on this shelf, which is inherent: a variable ND holds two rotating elements

Two notations published — ND2-400 and 1-9 stops — so no conversion is needed
A published 7.4 mm frame with a CNC pattern for grip
No colour cast claim either way, on a variable ND
Best for: A 67 mm standard or telephoto lens used for long exposures in changing light, where nine stops in one filter beats carrying four.
Twenty-nine euros for an 80 cm disc with two handles sewn on, 90 per cent reflectivity published and a 27 cm folded size — and a page that explains its surfaces by what each does to colour temperature.
Diameter
80 cm, in the title. The fourth bullet calls it 32 inches in its heading and then 80 cm or 35 inches in its text — two different conversions of the same disc in one bullet, and 80 cm is 31.5 inches. The intro above ties diameter to how the light wraps, and 80 cm covers a head and shoulders generously or one half of a standing figure
Shape
Round, named in the last bullet. The intro above matches round to a face; the 33 € Selens on this shelf is the oval, for a whole standing figure
Surfaces supplied
Five, and this page is the only one on the shelf to explain them in colour temperature: gold reflects light of low colour temperature to restore a skin tone, silver light of high colour temperature to correct one, white does not affect colour temperature at all, black blocks and absorbs surplus light, and the translucent centre works as a diffuser. The covers turn over or come off
Frame construction
Not named. The third bullet describes a multi-layer textile of polyester fibre with a highly reflective coating — that is the fabric, not the hoop. Only the 33 € Selens on this shelf says what its frame is made of
Folded size
27 cm, in the second bullet, which also says it fits into a small storage bag. From 80 cm that is a third, the same ratio as the 8 € Retoo folding 60 cm into 20
Fabric described
Multi-layer polyester fibre with a high-reflectivity coating, and 90 per cent reflectivity claimed in the third bullet — a figure two of the four discs here publish. No weight and no denier
Holder or bracket compatibility
Both a holder and a hand: the second bullet gives two handles sewn to the side and says it works without a helper, and the last bullet says the disc suits standard sizes and a variety of reflector holders. That bullet also argues that a hanging reflector holds up better outdoors than a standing one, because the wind does not take it

EAN
6942052556644
Two handles sewn to the edge, so one person can hold and aim it
Ninety per cent reflectivity published, and 27 cm folded from 80
The fourth bullet calls the same disc 32 inches and 35 inches in consecutive sentences
Best for: Working alone outdoors, where the disc has to be held and aimed by the same hand that is not holding the camera.
Seventeen euros for a four-piece kit whose blower has a valve — so it refills with clean air instead of sucking back the dust it just removed.
Kit contents
FOUR items, described in the first bullet as carefully selected tools and materials, safe and effective for a camera and other sensitive optics. Only two are named individually — the blower and the microfibre cloth — which leaves half the kit unspecified on a page of five bullets, two of which are the same sentence twice
Blower valve and nozzle
A BLOWER WITH A VALVE SYSTEM, in the second bullet, credited with optimal blowing action and contact-free removal of deep-seated dirt by simple pumping. The valve is the specification worth having: a plain bulb draws its next breath back through the same nozzle, sucking in the dust it just blew off, while a valved bulb takes clean air in through a separate inlet and sends only that at the glass
Cloth type and count
A microfibre cloth, in the second bullet, described as lint-free through a high-quality fibre structure, cleaning dirt thoroughly without scratches, and reusable. The count is not published — one is implied
Fluid composition stated
NOT STATED, and no fluid is clearly named among the four items. The 7 € CAMKIX supplies two sprays and says nothing about them; the 30 € UES publishes an alcohol-free pure-water formula
Swab sizing
NONE. The third bullet names cameras, lenses, phones, camcorders and glass surfaces — the outside of things. The sensor needs swabs, and only the 30 € UES on this shelf has them
Packaging
No case supplied. The fourth bullet says it stows easily in a camera backpack or bag and is easy to operate, adding that it does not need to do more than that — and the fifth bullet repeats the same sentence word for word

EAN
0700424379170
A valved blower, which sends clean air rather than recycled dust
A lint-free reusable microfibre cloth described by what it avoids
Two of its five bullets are identical, and two of its four items are unnamed
Best for: The everyday routine — air first, then a dry cloth — on lenses, screens and camera bodies.
Ten kilograms declared from 205 g of aluminium at 26 €, with a graduated ball, a bubble level and three knobs — and a plate whose profile the page never names.
Head type
A ball head, in the title and throughout. The hub above describes the type as swinging freely and locking in one action — faster than a three-way head and less precise when only one axis should move. The third bullet adds a scale on the ball itself, which is unusual at this price and lets an angle be returned to
Declared load
10 kg, in the first bullet, credited to a high-grade aluminium alloy. Read it against the shelf next door: the tripods in this catalogue top out at 6.35 kg, and the hub above says the lower of the two ratings governs. A 10 kg head does not make a 6 kg tripod carry more
Plate standard
Not named. The fourth bullet gives a removable quick-release plate with a 1/4 inch thread for all reflex cameras, and never says whether the dovetail follows the Arca profile or the maker’s own. The hub above calls the plate the part that decides what else in a bag still fits, and this page leaves that unanswerable
Mounting thread
Both, in the fourth bullet: a 1/4 inch thread above for the camera, and 3/8 inch screw holes below so the head mounts on a tripod, a monopod or a camera slider. Naming all three destinations is more than most heads bother with
Panning base and markings
A scale on the ball, in the third bullet, with three knobs controlling the ball and the panorama. The page does not describe a separate panning base under the head — so whether the horizontal movement is independent of the ball cannot be read, and on a ball head that is the difference between a level pan and a drifting one
Locking and friction controls
Three knobs, in the third bullet, for the ball and the panning movement. The second bullet claims strong locking force and names the bubble level as what brings the camera to level. No separate friction control is described — so the knob either holds or releases
Published weight
205 g, in the fifth bullet, with a height of 80 mm. At 205 g it is a sixth of the Manfrotto’s mass, and the page pairs both figures with portability

Two hundred and five grams and 80 mm tall, with both figures published

The plate profile is never named, so what else it fits is unknown
Best for: A light tripod or monopod that needs a head which locks in one action and weighs almost nothing.
Eighteen coating layers in a published 5.3 mm frame — the thinner of the two polariser frames on this shelf, for 18 €.
Thread size
67 mm, in the title, with the fifth bullet naming Canon, Nikon, Sony, Samsung and FUJIFILM lenses of that thread
Type
CIRCULAR — Zirkularer Polfilter — in the title and the third bullet. The hub above explains why that matters: a circular polariser leaves autofocus and metering intact on a modern body
Light loss stated
NOT STATED, as on all four polarisers here. Eighteen layers raise transmission; what the polarising element itself takes out is the figure the hub above asks for, and no page on this shelf gives it
Coating description
EIGHTEEN-fold coating on high-grade optical glass, in the third bullet, credited with reducing reflections and holding image quality in difficult light. The highest count on this shelf, matching the same maker’s UV filter
Frame thickness
PUBLISHED at 5.3 mm, in the fourth bullet, described as an ultra-slim aluminium frame that prevents vignetting even on wide-angle shots. It is the thinner of the two polariser frames published here — the 28 € NEEWER gives 5.9 mm — and the reason is stated rather than implied
Rotation mechanism
Not described. The frame thickness is published and how the ring turns is not

EAN
6942052508506
Five point three millimetres of frame, published with the reason: no vignetting on a wide lens
Eighteen coating layers, the highest count on this shelf
No light loss published
Best for: A wide-angle or standard zoom at 67 mm where the frame has to stay out of the corners of the picture.
Eighteen layers of nano coating on Japanese glass for 11 €, with a claim to cut chromatic aberration — and a sales-rank citation where a seventh specification would go.
Thread size
67 mm, in the title, and the fifth bullet says it suits all lenses with a 67 mm thread, naming Canon, Nikon, Sony, Samsung and Fuji
Glass
JAPANESE OPTICAL GLASS, in the second bullet, credited with first-class light transmission, improved optical clarity and colour fidelity. The same claim the 13 € PROfezzion on this shelf makes; the 9 € Amazon Basics names no glass at all
Coating description
EIGHTEEN LAYERS of green anti-reflective nano coating, in the third bullet — the highest count on this shelf, against twelve on the PROfezzion and two on the Hama. The same bullet claims the coating blocks ultraviolet light, raises contrast and eliminates light haze at sea or in high mountains
Frame thickness
NOT PUBLISHED as a figure: the fourth bullet calls it an extremely thin filter and leaves it there. The 8 € Hama publishes 3.4 mm and the 13 € PROfezzion 3 mm, so the one page here claiming thinness is the one that does not measure it
Material
Not named for the frame. The glass is specified and the ring is not
Front thread provision
Not mentioned
Stated transmission figure
NOT PUBLISHED — which is the odd gap on a page that counts eighteen coating layers. Layers exist to raise transmission, and the 13 € PROfezzion publishes the resulting figure at 99.5 per cent minimum

EAN
6942052514675
Eighteen nano layers on named Japanese optical glass, for 11 €
A stated effect on chromatic aberration, which no other filter here claims
Calls itself extremely thin and publishes no thickness
Best for: A 67 mm standard zoom used in bright coastal or mountain light, where haze and reflections matter more than the gap to the 9 € Amazon Basics.
Fifty-three euros for +1 to +10 in 77 mm with a nano coating, an EVA case — and the only page here that names the aperture and the focal length to use.
Dioptre strength
Four: +1, +2, +4 and +10, in the first bullet, which also says several filters can be combined to increase magnification and that the higher the dioptre the shorter the close range. That last clause is the working-distance answer the other pages leave out
Filter thread
77 mm, in the title — the size the buying advice above recommends buying for, because a step ring brings a large filter down to a small lens and costs 11 € on this same shelf
Element count
Not published. The second bullet describes highly transparent optical glass with a coating; it claims no doublet and no apochromatic correction, which is what separates it from the 139 € NiSi. The first bullet is candid about the trade: this is macro at a fraction of the cost of a macro lens
Whether the set is achromatic
NO — and this page is the one that says so between the lines. Its first bullet calls the set macro at a fraction of the cost of a macro lens, and its answer to edge softness is advice rather than glass: stop down to F5.6–F11, stay at 35 mm or longer. The coating is multi-layer and described at length; the CORRECTION is never claimed, and a coating suppresses reflections rather than colour fringing. The 139 € NiSi here is where the doublet begins
Coating described
FULLY, and it is the best coating description on this shelf: a multi-layer AR nano coating on highly transparent optical glass, credited with markedly increased transmission, stray-light-free imaging, effective suppression of flare and ghosting, and an image with no darkening and no colour cast
What a multi-piece set contains
A high-density EVA case with four separate compartments, described as shock-, break- and pressure-resistant, plus THREE dust-free vacuum-packed cleaning cloths, in the fourth bullet. The fifth adds a precision-machined metal filter ring and scratch-resistant glass

No element count and no achromatic claim, at 53 €
Best for: A 77 mm lens used carefully — stopped down, at 35 mm or longer — where the coating and the advice are worth more than the extra 33 €.
Twenty-seven by 17 by 10.5 cm inside, three compartments, removable dividers and straps underneath for a light tripod — worn five ways, at 41 €.
Internal dimensions
PUBLISHED: 27 by 17 by 10.5 cm, in the first bullet, described as holding one body and two lenses. It is the largest published interior on this shelf and the figure that matters most — nearly five litres of usable space
Volume
Not published. The dimensions give roughly 4.8 litres, and the page leaves it as equipment instead
Access design
A DOUBLE-PULLER design opening from the LEFT AND THE RIGHT, in the third bullet — so the bag can be opened from whichever side the hand is on — with the two zip rings bucklable to one another as an ANTI-THEFT measure. That is a genuine feature on a shoulder bag worn in a crowd
Divider system
The fullest on this shelf: professional EVA lens partitions that are REMOVABLE, over 10 mm of high-density EPE shock-absorbing padding, and THREE compartments in the fourth bullet — equipment, accessories and personal items kept separate so they do not disturb one another
Laptop sleeve size
None
Tripod carry
YES — DOUBLE STRAPS on the underside, in the fourth bullet, for a light tripod or a table tripod. It is the only tripod provision on this shelf besides the 49 € TARION, and the page is honest about the limit: light tripods, not a full-height one
Weather protection

Thirty-nine centimetres of depth, a TPU window with an anti-fog coating and a waterproof zip — the most thoroughly built cover on this shelf, at 20 €.
Lens length accommodated
THE DEEPEST CAPACITY HERE: 19 by 15 by 39 cm — width, height and depth — in the first bullet, which also asks the buyer to check the measurements before purchase. Thirty-nine centimetres of depth takes a long telephoto with a hood, and publishing all three dimensions is what lets a fat lens be checked as well as a long one
Eyepiece design
A HIGH-TRANSPARENCY TPU WINDOW over the display and the viewfinder, in the third bullet, with an ANTI-FOG COATING that prevents condensation forming even when the temperature changes, and a scratch- and oil-resistant surface. The anti-fog layer is unique on this shelf and it addresses the failure that actually happens: a cover in the rain is warm inside and cold outside, and a plain plastic window mists over exactly when it is needed
Hand access
Not described. The cover is closed by a zip and adjusted by velcro inside, and how the hands reach the controls is not stated
Material and seams
Water-repellent NYLON with a WATERPROOF ZIP, in the second bullet, said to protect against rain, snow, salt air and extreme weather. The zip is the part worth noting — an ordinary zip is a line of holes, and a waterproof one is a real construction choice. Seams are not described
Closure method
Three mechanisms, in the second and fourth bullets: the waterproof zip; an ADJUSTABLE VELCRO STRIP INSIDE that adapts to any lens diameter; and elastic bands with a NON-SLIP LEATHER TAB at the lens mount. The internal velcro is what makes one cover fit a 50 mm prime and a 300 mm zoom equally tightly
Packed size
Not a figure, but the fifth bullet states the property: light, foldable nylon that takes up hardly any space, named for hiking, action photography and demanding outdoor use

About sixty grams of 150D nylon at a published 100 cm, on stainless steel rings — the lightest strap on this shelf, for 17 €.
Wear style
Neck or shoulder, in the third bullet, which calls 100 cm ideal for either
Attachment method
STAINLESS STEEL RINGS, in the second and fourth bullets, described as allowing a quick, non-slip fixing that holds at any angle or pull. Steel rings are the simplest reliable joint there is — no plastic buckle to fatigue, no stitching to unpick
Declared load
NOT PUBLISHED, and it is the only strap on this shelf without a figure. The fourth bullet promises a secure connection through stable steel eyelets and gives no kilograms, where the others claim 10, 50, 5-10 and 90 kg
Adjustment range
A FIXED 100 cm — 39 inches — in the third bullet, rather than a range. A fixed length is a real design decision: nothing slips, nothing has to be reset, and it either suits the wearer or does not. The 20 € Sunya here adjusts from 89 to 147 cm
Width and padding
Not published, and no padding is claimed. The first bullet says it puts no pressure on the shoulders or neck, on the strength of weighing almost nothing rather than of being cushioned
Material
150D PREMIUM NYLON, tear-resistant and durable, at ABOUT 60 g — the only strap weight on this shelf. One hundred and fifty denier is a light, tightly woven yarn: strong for its mass, and thin enough to roll into a pocket

The tallest stand here at 280 cm, and the only one to publish its footprint — 80 cm across — in a metal body weighing 1742 g, for 41 €.
Maximum and minimum height
280 cm, in the second and fourth bullets — the tallest on this shelf by 24 cm. The minimum is never published, which on a stand this tall is the figure that decides whether it can also light from low down
Folded length
Not published. The first bullet describes quick catches and easy transport without a packed figure, and the buying advice for this shelf puts that number first
Section count
Not published. The second bullet describes a one-handed clockwise twist that extends and retracts the stand in seconds, which implies twist collars rather than flip catches, and no count appears
Spigot and thread sizes
A 1/4 inch thread with an adapter, in the third bullet, named for lights, flashes and holders and described as completing the range of connections. As with two other stands here, no 16 mm stud is named — so studio fittings that expect a spigot are not provided for
Declared load
Not published. The fifth bullet claims better load-bearing than ordinary aluminium stands without a figure, which is the one specification this otherwise well-measured page omits
Leg spread
80 cm in diameter when opened, in the second bullet — the ONLY footprint published on this shelf. The hub above says a softbox turns a stand into a sail and that at that point the spread and the centre of gravity matter more than the load figure, and this is the page that answers it
Material
Metal rather than aluminium, in the fifth bullet, which claims greater resistance to falls, better load-bearing and a surface treatment that substantially reduces rust, at 1742 g. The fourth adds a lower tube thicker than on other light stands and angled feet that stand better on uneven ground

Twenty-five euros for a 110 g handle carrying 5000 mAh for an Osmo Pocket, with a quarter-inch thread and a USB port that takes a microphone.
Bodies named
Three, in the second bullet: the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, 4 and 4P — the 4 Pro. The claim worth noting is the second half: a stable fit with no wobble and, in its own words, no pop-up windows — which is the firmware warning a non-standard accessory produces. This catalogue sells the Osmo Pocket 4 on its gimbal shelf
Cells carried and reporting
5000 mAh built in, in the first bullet, with a FOUR-STAGE LED gauge in the fourth. The gauge has a considered detail: it does not light while a device is connected and shooting, so it cannot appear in the frame or distract in the dark
Duplicated controls
NONE, and this is the distinction the shelf above has to make. A vertical grip for a reflex duplicates the shutter release and the command dials for portrait-format work; a power handle carries a battery and nothing else. Two of the six grips here duplicate controls; four, including this one, do not
Sealing claims
None
Tripod thread position
A quarter-inch thread, in the third bullet, named for tripods, extension poles, selfie sticks, PeaPods and clamps. On a pocket gimbal that is the whole point of a handle: it turns a hand-held camera into something mountable

Eighteen rings for 23 €, nine up and nine down — the only set on this shelf that can fit a smaller filter to a larger lens, with the vignetting that implies.
Mounts joined
NONE, again: filter threads. The first bullet says the set matches a lens thread to the thread of any other accessory, which is the clearest statement of the job on this shelf. The 95 € Canon and the 185 € Nikon here are the mount adapters
Contacts present
None

Each amount in a write-up is what the listing showed when that page was written. The figure next to the product is pulled in as you read, and it is the one that counts.
