A control surface, not a fire button

Power from 1/256 to 1/1, exposure compensation, zoom and the modelling light — all from the camera. Six other pages on this shelf describe firing lights. Two of them describe changing something. This one describes running a lighting setup from a touchscreen, which is what the hub above says a transmitter should let the hand do.

Three layers where most of this shelf has one. Groups separate your own lights, channels separate you from other people, and IDs separate you from other people who picked your channel.

It fires a rival’s lights

Godox iT32, V1, V100, AD200 Pro II, AD100 Pro II — named, with a firmware condition. The system decision is the one the hub above calls expensive to reverse, and this is the only page here that softens it.

Twenty to two hundred millimetres, from the shoe

Zoom control means the beam of a compatible flash narrows to match a lens without touching the flash. On a light above head height or inside a softbox, that is a setting that would otherwise require a ladder.

Read the single-contact note first

TTL and strobe will not work until single-contact mode is turned off. The instruction sits at the end of the first bullet, and without it the trigger fires and every automatic mode quietly does nothing.
