Eight steps, and no gap between them

Forty-nine to 82 mm in consecutive sizes. Every common thread from 49 upward appears twice in the list — once as an outer size, once as an inner one — which is what makes the set stackable rather than merely broad.

Threads, not mounts

The shelf above mixes two objects under one word. A mount adapter joins a body to a lens of another system and costs 95 € or 185 € here. This is a hollow metal ring that fits a filter, and it costs 11 €.

Anodised aluminium, at eleven euros

The alternative at this price is plastic, which deforms in the thread and eventually seizes on a lens. The third bullet names the metal and the finish.

What two rings add in front of the lens

Several millimetres. On a telephoto that is nothing; on a wide angle the frame starts to see the ring itself. The listing sells the stacking and leaves that out.
