One battery, three devices
The power kit is the argument for this monitor. A transmitter and a light each carry their own cell and their own charger. Bolted to the back of this screen, they run on its Sony F970 instead.

A downscaled image always looks sharp. One image pixel per panel pixel does not flatter anything, and peaking confirms what it shows.

What does the power kit replace?
Two more batteries. The second bullet describes an external mount on the back of the monitor that installs devices and powers them from the same F970 — a wireless transmitter, an LED light, a video converter. Each of those normally carries its own cell and its own charger, and the bullet names the saving directly: less space, less weight.
Why is pixel-to-pixel worth having?
Because scaling hides softness. A 1920 by 1080 image shown whole on a 5.2-inch screen is downscaled, and downscaling makes everything look sharp. Pixel-to-pixel shows one image pixel per panel pixel on a crop of the frame, which is the state in which focus can actually be judged — peaking then confirms it.
Is 500 nits usable on location?
In shade, indoors and under an overcast sky, yes — with the supplied hood it stretches further. In direct sun it does not, and that is the 227 € difference between this and the 1400-nit VILTROX on this shelf. The honest reading is that this is a studio and interview monitor that travels, not a desert monitor.
