The bottom line True 4PASS sublimation with a sealing laminate, a published 55-second print and 38 sheets for 80 €. The format is credit-card small, the only route in is Bluetooth, and neither borderless printing nor colour profiles are addressed.
On the listing
Five bullets. Instant photo printing, turning smartphone photos into quality prints in seconds, named for family moments, travel, journaling and creative projects; the original 4PASS dye-sublimation technology, printing each photo in three colour layers and sealing it with a transparent protective lamination, giving a smooth, detailed print in about 55 seconds that resists fingerprints, water and fading; simple operation — switch on, connect over Bluetooth, print within seconds, designed for beginners and daily use; printing anywhere, compact enough for a hand, bag or pocket, named for parties, travel, school projects and scrapbooks; and the KODAK Photo Printer app over built-in Bluetooth for compatible iOS and Android devices, for editing, cropping and designing before printing.
Three layers of dye, and one of laminate
The fourth pass is the product. Yellow, magenta, cyan — then a clear seal over all three. It is why a sublimation print can be handed round a table and an inkjet print cannot.
Fifty-five seconds, published
The fastest figure on this shelf. The 100 € Liene publishes 67 seconds; the other two publish nothing.
Five by seven point six centimetres
Credit-card size, and stated in the title. Two pages on this shelf never publish a size at all — but the 119 € Canon reaches nearly four times this area.
A ribbon that runs out with the paper
Sublimation pairs its consumables. Thirty-eight sheets and the ribbon to match, so neither strands the other — unlike a tri-colour ink cartridge.
One way in
Bluetooth, from a phone, through the maker’s app. No card, no cable, no camera.
Availability
Between 80 € and 85 € on the German, French, Italian and Spanish Amazon stores when this page was last checked.
The American and British Amazon stores carry it too, priced in local currency. Those amounts are deliberately absent from the range above, which reads euro stores only.

What it does well, and what it gives up
Strengths
Four-pass sublimation with a sealing laminate, so prints resist fingerprints and water
About 55 seconds a print — the fastest published time here
A print size published, and 38 sheets in the box
Compromises
Five by 7.6 cm is the smallest published format on this shelf
One path only: Bluetooth from a phone
No borderless claim and no colour profile
Specifications
Technology
DYE-SUBLIMATION, and the second bullet describes the process rather than naming it: three colour layers printed in turn, then sealed under a transparent protective lamination. That fourth pass is where 4PASS gets its name, and it is the reason a sublimation print survives a thumb
Ink set and cartridge count
A ribbon-and-paper cartridge rather than ink, with 38 sheets supplied. Sublimation consumables pair the two: the ribbon is consumed in step with the paper, so a pack cannot run out of one before the other — the opposite of the single inkjet cartridge on the 80 € Nelko here
Ink type
Dye on a ribbon, transferred by heat. Not described as a liquid anywhere, because it is not one
Maximum paper size
5 by 7.6 cm, in the title — the credit-card format. It is published, which two pages on this shelf fail to do, and it is small: the 119 € Canon reaches 100 by 148 mm
Borderless support
Not stated. The prints are described as smooth and detailed and no border behaviour is given
Media paths
One: Bluetooth from a phone, through the KODAK Photo Printer app, in the fifth bullet. No card slot and no USB host
Connectivity
Built-in Bluetooth to compatible iOS and Android devices, with editing, cropping and design in the app before printing

What people ask before they commit
What does the fourth pass actually add?
A lid. Three passes lay down yellow, magenta and cyan dye; the fourth lays a clear laminate over the lot. The second bullet names the result — protection against fingerprints, water and fading — and it is the structural difference between a sublimation print and an inkjet one, which has nothing over its surface at all.
Is 55 seconds fast?
It is the fastest figure published on this shelf, against 67 seconds for the 100 € Liene, and the two others publish no print time at all. For a party where prints are handed round it matters; a minute a print is four minutes for a group of four.
How small is 5 by 7.6 cm really?
Credit-card size. It fits a wallet, a fridge door or a journal page, and it is not a photograph for a frame. The 119 € Canon on this shelf reaches postcard format at 100 by 148 mm, which is nearly four times the area — and costs 39 € more.
