The only camera on this shelf that states its runtime per battery rather than as a total, and one of the few to supply both a radio remote and a wired microphone.

The bottom line The best-documented battery on the shelf and a genuinely complete accessory set for the money. What is missing is any description of the EIS it advertises in its own title, and any statement of which frame rates it survives.

The battery figure is the one to notice

Ninety minutes per battery, and two supplied. Every other camera here that publishes a runtime does it by adding cells together — up to 4.5 hours, up to 180 minutes — and a total tells a buyer nothing about when the camera stops. This listing gives the per-cell figure and then says two are included, which is the correct order.

EIS in the title, and nowhere else

The letters appear in the product name and never again. There is no mode list, no stop figure, and no statement of which resolutions keep it. That last omission matters more than it sounds: the camera one place up this shelf publishes 4K at 60 fps and says in the same bullet that 60 fps requires stabilisation to be turned off. Nothing here rules that trade in or out.

The remote and the microphone

Two accessories the cheaper cameras on this shelf leave out. Both point at the same use: the camera lives in its case, where the buttons are hard to reach and the built-in microphone hears plastic. The maker attaches a caution to the remote in the fourth bullet rather than overselling it.

What does EIS cost in picture quality?

Electronic stabilisation crops into the frame and shifts the image in software, so it narrows the field of view slightly and can smear fine detail when the light is poor. Some cameras disable it above a certain frame rate for that reason — the icefox on this same shelf says its 60 fps mode requires EIS to be switched off. This listing names EIS and says nothing about either trade-off.

Is a wired microphone better than the built-in one?

It can be placed away from the camera, which is what matters: a microphone inside a waterproof housing hears the case, not the scene. The fourth bullet supplies one and adds a caution about the remote, so the maker clearly expects the camera to be used inside its case, where external audio is the only usable audio.
