What people ask before they commit
Why does the listing recommend a 5 V 2 A supply specifically?
Because a USB light draws what it can get. The fourth bullet says plainly that with a weaker supply the brightness may be somewhat lower — so the same ring on a laptop port and on a 2 A charger are not the same light. It is an unusually honest sentence, and it means the published brightness levels assume a supply the buyer has to provide.
What difference do four legs make?
The second bullet claims a larger contact area for better balance and a higher load. In practice a four-legged base is harder to tip sideways than a tripod, which matters when a phone worth several hundred euros is clamped 177 cm up. It also takes more floor space, which is the trade in a small room.
Does 11.5 inches make it a portrait light?
Closer to it than the small rings here. The hub above says diameter sets both softness and how far the light can be from the subject before it stops behaving like a ring. At 11.5 inches it will light a face pleasantly at conversational distance; the 18 inch ring at the top of this shelf will do so from further back, and the 6 inch one must sit very close.
