A slider moves along a fixed rail, so its moves are straight and limited to the rail’s length. A dolly rolls on any smooth surface, so moves can be longer and can curve with the 30° steering. It needs a flat table or floor.
Five speeds run from 60 seconds per meter, very slow, to 15 seconds per meter. NEEWER advises against starting at 60 s/m when going uphill.
