For about $19, Amazon Basics sells a light aluminum tripod with a 3-way head and quick-release plate. It is the most reviewed tripod on Amazon.
Amazon caps total equipment at 4.4 lb. A declared load is a static figure: what the support holds without slipping. It says nothing about vibration, wind or what the head can hold once tilted.
