A small softbox

At 6 × 5 in, it enlarges the flash a little and softens close shadows.

Two layers

The internal diffuser spreads light more evenly.

Fit

Hook-and-loop strap, universal.

When to bounce instead

Indoors, bouncing off a white ceiling usually beats any small diffuser.

What people ask before they commit

Will it fit my flash?

Altura lists most shoe-mount flashes; the strap wraps around the head.

How much softer is the light?

A 6 × 5 in source is only a little larger than the flash head, so softening is modest at a distance.

Does it reduce power?

Yes, every diffuser costs some light.
