Logitech’s entry webcam: 720p at 30 fps, a 55° view, a built-in mic and a universal clip, sold by Amazon.com for about $21. It is now listed as compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 GameChat.
The C270 has been Logitech’s entry model for years. It records 720p at 30 frames per second and has a built-in microphone that Logitech rates up to 1.5 meters away.
Its 55° diagonal field of view frames one face closely. That suits a single person at a laptop; a group will not fit.
Logitech now lists compatibility with Nintendo Switch 2’s GameChat mode, which has kept it near the top of Amazon’s sales.
For about $6 more, the Acer A610 records 1080p with two microphones. The C270 is worth its price mainly for the Logitech name and Switch 2 support.

Logitech lists it as compatible with Switch 2’s GameChat mode.
For most video calls, which compress the image, 720p is acceptable. For recording or streaming, a 1080p or 4K camera on this shelf is a clear step up.
It uses USB-A. A USB-C laptop needs an adapter, which is not listed in the box.
