The bottom line Two 60 cm boxes, 3450 lumens apiece at 5700K, 210 cm stands and an E27 socket that will take a flash tube — the one kit here that does not close the door on flash. It does not dim, its equivalence claim describes bulbs it does not supply, and at 122 € it is the dearest arrangement on the shelf.

What does the slave-flash option actually allow?

It turns the kit into a flash modifier. The third bullet says the E27 socket takes bulbs, fluorescent tubes or slave flashes — so the same box can carry a continuous lamp today and a flash tube later, fired optically by another flash. No other kit on this shelf mentions it, and it is the one respect in which this arrangement is not a dead end.

How should the 700 W equivalence be read?

As a comparison with incandescent bulbs that are not in the box. Two 35 W LEDs are each described as equivalent to a 350 W incandescent, and the title adds them together. The figure that can actually be used is in the fourth bullet: 3450 lumens per bulb at 5700K. Watt equivalence is marketing arithmetic; lumens are a measurement.

Why is it nearly twice the price of the RaLeno kit?

Not for the light: 35 W against 50 W, and no dimming on either. What the extra buys is the taller 210 cm stands against 200 cm, the larger 60 by 60 cm boxes against 50 by 50, and the E27 socket’s flash option. Whether 122 € is worth paying over the 66 € RaLeno kit depends entirely on whether the flash route will ever be taken.
