Every other tent on this shelf counts its beads instead. A hundred and four, 144, 160, 270 — none of which is an output. Lumens can be compared between fixtures; bead counts cannot be compared at all.

What people ask before they commit
Why does dimming from zero matter in a tent?
Because most subjects in a tent are shiny. The first bullet gives flicker-free dimming from 0 to 100 per cent on stable direct current, and jewellery, watches and packaging all reach a point where more light is only more reflection. A tent with fixed output is adjusted by moving the camera or adding diffusion instead.
What does "flicker-free on stable direct current" actually mean?
That the strips are driven by smoothed DC rather than switched on and off rapidly to dim. Rapid switching is what puts banding across a photograph at a fast shutter speed and pulses across video. The bullet names the elimination of strobe effects as the reason, and it is the kind of claim that only appears where the maker has thought about it.
Is 2100 lumens comparable with the other tents here?
It is the only figure on the shelf that could be. The others publish LED counts — 104, 144, 160, 270 — which say nothing about output, because a bead can be any power. Lumens measure what leaves the fixture; how much lands on a subject still depends on the size of the box and the distance.
