What people ask before they commit
Why do the two matte paper sheets matter?
Because PVC is glossy and glossy backgrounds reflect the subject. A watch on a smooth white sheet sits in a faint mirror image of itself, which then has to be retouched out. Matte paper returns light without returning a reflection. The fourth bullet supplies two, in black and white, and no other tent on this shelf supplies any.
Is RA97 the same as CRI 97?
Yes — RA is the older notation for the same general colour rendering index, and 97 means the same thing under either name. On this shelf it ties with the 39 € RaLeno, and both sit above the 95 claimed by the 34 € PULUZ and the 40 € EMART.
What does the closed design change?
It makes the result repeatable. The second bullet credits the closed construction with minimising the influence of outside light, which is what lets a photograph taken at noon match one taken at midnight. The price is that the only light on the subject is the light the box contains, so the dimming steps carry all the control.
