FEELWORLD P6XL 6-inch Touch Monitor review

A 6-inch, 1200-nit touch monitor with its own battery, 4K HDMI input and 3D LUT support, sold by FEELWORLD’s US store for about $200. No NP-F battery to buy.

Bright and self-contained

The P6XL is a 6-inch Full HD touch monitor with a built-in 3300 mAh battery. That removes the NP-F battery and plate that most monitors need, and keeps a small rig light.

Tools for exposure and focus

Waveform, vectorscope, histogram and focus assist are all there, with 3D LUT upload to preview log footage. At 1200 nits, the screen stays visible outdoors.

Battery life

FEELWORLD is specific: 2.2 hours at 100% brightness, 2.5 at 80%, 3 at 60%. For a full day, plan a power bank.

What it lacks

No HDMI loop-out or SDI is listed. For a larger screen and SDI, the NEEWER F700U on this shelf is the professional option.

What people ask before they commit

Can I swap the battery?

The battery is built in. FEELWORLD quotes 2.2 hours at full brightness and 3 hours at 60%. A USB power bank is the usual backup.

What is a 3D LUT for?

It previews a graded look on log footage while you film, so exposure and color can be judged as they will look after editing.

Will it work outdoors?

FEELWORLD rates it at 1200 nits, bright enough to stay readable in direct sunlight.
